Akanksha Gupta, MD, FCAP, FASCP is a physician, author, educator and entrepreneur whose work spans diagnostic medicine, educational publishing and community service.
She is Senior Staff Pathologist at Henry Ford Health System, Henry Ford Genesys Hospital, and Founder and CEO of Ace My Path.
Board-certified in anatomic and clinical pathology and hematopathology, she trained through pathology residencies in India and the United States, a renal pathology fellowship at UNC Chapel Hill, and a hematopathology fellowship at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center.
Alongside clinical practice, she has brought expert collaborators together to build Ace My Path, which has published 28 pathology books so far. Her work also includes digital learning resources and initiatives that support trainees and communities beyond her own institution.

During the pandemic, Dr. Gupta organized an international reading group of more than 1,000 participants. Sixty discussion sessions and shared notes helped lay the foundation for the first Ace My Path book.
