From renal pathology to digital education.

The work reflects an evolution rather than a single research lane—beginning with renal and transplant pathology, expanding through diagnostic pathology and laboratory medicine, and later moving into digital pathology and educational innovation.

2013–15

Renal & transplant pathology

UNC fellowship-era work on glomerular disease, transplant pathology and renal pathology education.

2016–19

Diagnostic pathology, microbiology & digital tools

Surgical pathology case presentations, microbiology investigation, smartphone photomicrography and mobile IHC tools during residency.

Hematopathology & pathology education

Advanced hematopathology training followed by an increasing focus on educational systems, whole-slide learning and practical pathology resources.
