Rapid Fire Board Review · 2026

From uncertainty
to exam-day confidence.

Participants describe structure, expert teaching, active recall, pacing, accountability and the confidence that came from working through high-yield material together.

High-yield structure · Fellowship relevance
“An absolute game-changer for boards.”

I found the Rapid Fire Board Review course to be an absolute game-changer for boards. I particularly liked that it is well structured around high-yield content and taught by experienced subspecialty mentors. Using it alongside the 2024 pre-recorded board-review videos helped me immensely—not just for board prep, but also in my current surgical pathology fellowship.

Above all, it created a motivating and encouraging atmosphere that made learning feel effortless and truly built a peer-supported environment that took the dread out of studying, even on the weekends.

Board preparation · Clinical foundation
“It not only prepares you well for the boards but also builds a strong foundation for real-life clinical practice.”

I would definitely recommend the Rapid Fire Board Review course, whether you’re a beginner or preparing at an advanced level for boards. The schedule is well planned, the content focuses on high-yield concepts while covering the basics, and the constant motivation from the faculty keeps you going.

It not only prepares you well for the boards but also builds a strong foundation that helps you in real-life clinical practice. Overall, a great course!

Active learning · Performance tracking
“One of the best resources for preparing for the boards.”

I passed my AP/CP boards this year. I recommend the Rapid Fire Board Review course to every PGY-4. This course requires active participation, unlike many other resources that are more passive. Because you are actively engaged throughout the course, it helps you stay focused and also builds the endurance needed for the actual exam.

The course covers almost all of the high-yield topics you need to know and is taught and run by some of the best-known leaders in the field, including BB Guy. You know you are being guided by the best, and you also have the opportunity to interact with the faculty live.

The course has a well-structured schedule, giving you enough time to prepare each topic across both AP and CP. The material itself is very, very high-yield, and you feel well prepared once you have covered all the topics included in the course.

Another great feature is the ability to track your performance throughout the course. This helps you identify the topics you need to focus on more while recognizing the areas you have already mastered.

AP + CP · Live faculty access
“Access to world-class instructors in each subject matter… was an unbeatable experience.”

Dr. Gupta’s Ace My Path Rapid Fire Board Review was an excellent resource during our board-study period. It provided a structured and systematic review of both AP and CP. The rapid-fire questions help build your intuition and teach you to trust your instincts when taking the exam.

Being able to ask questions and get clarification directly from instructors was an unbeatable experience. I would absolutely recommend this resource to anyone taking boards this year.

Structure · Accountability · Mentorship
“Ace My Path’s Rapid Fire sessions gave me that structure back.”

Ever since medical school, I’ve always liked group studying and having a set schedule to stay on track. Between residency and having a 9-month-old at home, that felt nearly impossible—until Ace My Path’s Rapid Fire sessions gave me that structure back.

The lecture package was excellent—clear, concise, and genuinely high-yield. Dr. Gupta put together a subject-by-subject schedule that kept me accountable and on pace. The sessions had a great mix of healthy competition and outstanding mentors who broke down concepts really well. Dr. Gupta was always open to feedback, and the sessions kept getting better because of it.

Overall, I’d 100% recommend this program for board prep. If you follow the schedule and put in the effort during the sessions, you’ll be in great shape to pass.

“I can’t thank Dr. Gupta enough.”

I can’t thank Dr. Gupta enough—not only for her excellent teaching and guidance, but also for the incredible mental and emotional support she provides.

I highly recommend the Rapid Fire Board Review course!

Daily Pathology Learning · 2026

Consistency became
part of the curriculum.

Daily live teaching and recordings created a rhythm of learning that residents could return to even when rotations, call and service demands changed week to week.

“These lectures genuinely feel like the light at the end of the tunnel when I think about passing boards.”

Dr. Gupta, if it weren’t for you and these daily lectures, I honestly don’t think I would be studying every day. The 5 PM CT lecture has become a stopping point in my day—I stop whatever else I’m doing and set that hour aside for my own learning. I know myself, and I would never have been able to create this kind of consistency on my own without the structure and accountability of the daily lectures.

Of course, there are days when work simply makes it impossible, especially when I’m on frozens, EBUS, etc. But when I’m on sign-out, I make a point of taking that hour, even if it means I’ll be a little later finishing my cases.

For me, these lectures genuinely feel like the light at the end of the tunnel when I think about passing boards. They have become an essential part of my preparation and have given me a structure for studying that I didn’t have before.

So from one very engaged student: please keep doing them! They are making a much bigger difference than you may realize, and I’m incredibly grateful for the time and effort you put into them. The recordings are also extremely helpful. For the lectures I have to miss because of work, I try to watch the recordings afterward and keep myself as close to the schedule as possible. Sometimes it’s hard to catch up right away, especially during busier rotations, but I keep organized notes of everything I’ve missed so I don’t lose track.

I actually already have a schedule in my mind for my easier rotations, when I know I’ll have more time to go back and catch up on the lectures I missed in each specialty. So even when I can’t attend live, having the recordings available means I’m not actually losing that material—I know I can come back to it when my schedule allows.

For me, having both the daily live lectures and the recordings is incredibly valuable and makes the whole program work even with the unpredictability of residency.

Carolina Beeter, MDDaily Pathology Learning
“It’s the best thing I have for board preps.”

Honestly, it’s not easy hitting 100% consistency for live sessions, but I’m around 80–90%, and that works well enough considering my work schedule. I make time to review the material at other times.

I’m very grateful for being part of this community because it’s the best thing I have for board preps.

Ben Paul, MDDaily Pathology Learning
“I honestly think these sessions have made me better at Pathology.”

When I’m on call or on Surg Path I’m not able to attend the live sessions, and I still need to catch up. But nonetheless I love the accountability and the impact that these sessions have had in my growth as a pathologist.

You are such a dedicated and committed teacher, Dr. Gupta. I can’t even explain in words how indebted I am toward you.

Madiha Makhdumi, MDDaily Pathology Learning
“Your way is summarized in high-yield topics and tends to move faster.”

I may be biased because I love everything Ace My Path has to offer, but I really like that your way is summarized in high-yield topics and tends to move faster.

“It encourages steady progress rather than cramming.”

The Ace My Path Book Club has been a great way to build consistency in my pathology education. Even on busy days, I know I can commit to 30 minutes of focused learning.

The organized reading schedule and guided review of pathology topics make studying feel manageable and sustainable. What I enjoy most is that it encourages steady progress rather than cramming, helping me develop a daily habit that I believe will pay off tremendously over time.

Carolina Beeter, MDAce My Path Book Club
“Committing just 30 minutes a day has already helped me revisit topics I had not touched since my exams.”

It has only been three weeks, but committing just 30 minutes a day has already helped me revisit topics I had not touched since my exams. I’m looking forward to making this daily habit part of my lifelong routine.

Thank you, Dr. Akanksha Gupta, for making this possible.

Dear Dr. Gupta,

As I was studying for the boards, I find this book written by your team extraordinarily helpful! Thank you very much for everything that you all do. I have purchased all the physical books of ACE THE BOARDS series since they are extremely helpful for remembering all the information.

California, USA · Hematopathology books

On behalf of all trainees, I cannot thank you and your colleagues enough for creating these books and resources!! They are much needed and I just received my Neoplastic and Non-Neoplastic heme books in the mail yesterday. You guys should receive an award for this great work! I am not kidding. Thanks a million.

South Africa · International reach

I wish you could see the impact this book has had here in South Africa - the residents who just wrote the part 2 (final) board exam here relied heavily on the book. I hear from friends at the University of Cape Town, the university in Bloemfontein, and here at Wits in Johannesburg regularly saying how grateful they are for the book. So thank you!

Canada · Hematopathology / Flow Cytometry

Hi Akanksha, I’m a South African trained hemepath now in Canada starting from scratch as I’ve been out of the workplace for so long. I recently discovered your flow cytometry lecture series and am so grateful for the time, effort and energy you put into these lectures. I’m only on lecture two and you have already filled so many gaps I have. Thank you so much!

I am a fellow now and have continued to found your resources absolutely invaluable. I let my current co-fellow and residents, know how helpful it's been to have something clear and concise I could quickly read as the cases come in throughout the day. Very grateful for the all of the hard work you and everyone else at Ace My Path put in to creating this wonderful product.

Pakistan · AKUH

I would like to deeply appreciate your your team's efforts in making Ace the boards series. Here, at AKUH, Pakistan "Surgical Pathology Re-imagined" is playing the role of pocket guide, to say the least, for us residents, we usually play trivia amongst each other, & whenever get stuck on anything, we say "wait up,.... let's just quickly go through the points and wsi image.

India · Flow Cytometry Course

I am just starting off with flow cytometry and I have been trying to learn on my own since 2-3 months. But I wasn’t able to get too far. This course has been so helpful, it was exactly what I was looking for, what I needed. At work I can see visible change in my understanding of flow cases. I have started analyzing cases on my own. I loved the fact that I could ask my doubts. I cannot mention enough how helpful this course was for me. It was like a God send.

Flow Course Attendee

India · Flow Cytometry Course

Thank you so much. It was great learning experience. I had very poor knowledge in flow cytometry as we don't do in our lab but planning in future. After attending the sessions, now I feel flowcytometry is not at all tough and challenging except few cases. Reading theory along with case discussion is unique and very valuable to the course. I have not seen any online course like this having more than 20 sessions and doing it for free. Hats off to your hard work.

We saw one of our colleagues with your books and have generated a lot of interest within the department.

Would you consider doing us a bulk discount for the department and all the residents at the Royal Surrey if we were to place a big order?

We are aiming to purchase approximately 10 of surgical part 1, 10 of surgical part 2, 10 cytology, and maybe 6 heampath.

Switzerland · Post-board follow-up

Hi Akanksha, I wanted to thank you and your team again for your help! I have passed my boards! :) I wish you and Ace my Path all the best!!

I worked through most of both books. They are perfect for me they've been a huge help in reviewing and psychologically (because they're "doable" as opposed to "quickly" reading through sternberg :D and because I tend to miss the important facts amidst too much information).

Ace The Board: Surgical Pathology Reimagined is truly a reimagined concept to study pathology. It is designed not only for those doing residency or applying for boards, but also for all of us already practicing. This book offers more than 4000 high-resolution photomicrographs accompanied by high-yield text, which is integrated with over 1000 whole slide images. This allows a really close to “real-pathology” experience. I genuinely believe every pathologist would have loved to have this book on their side during residency and for sure will enjoy it in day-to-day practice.

Vinay Kumar, MBBS, MD, FRCPath

Senior Editor / Author of Robbins Pathology Textbooks · Lowell T. Coggeshall Distinguished Service Professor of Pathology · Former Chairman of the Department of Pathology · Biological Sciences Division and Pritzker School of Medicine · University of Chicago · Chicago, IL, USA

Surgical pathology is a complex, dynamic, and ever-evolving field of medicine. This book represents a novel contribution to the current pathology literature. The text is thorough, yet concise, and up to date with the most current concepts governing the practice of surgical pathology. The book has been designed to help pathology residents preparing for board examinations; however, it will also be a useful quick reference for practicing pathologists.

Increasingly, the students of today want information in digital form and not in printed form. Hence book authors must cater to the needs of the new generation. The editors of this book have therefore created a “print” book with linkage to whole slide images by scanning a QR code. One click takes the reader to annotations. Thus, this book simulates the traditional multihead scope teaching. The only difference is that this book has an infinite headed scope. This unique and first of its kind simulation of teaching will help readers solidify knowledge with real life examples of surgical pathology cases. Similarly, audio content is also available, giving users multiple formats to customize and optimize their learning experience.

The team of authors and editors have worked tirelessly to provide a comprehensive, user-friendly, and innovative textbook that will be very useful for pathology residents and fellows, as well as medical students, laboratory professionals, and seasoned pathologists already in practice. I will recommend this to our residents, fellows, and faculty. Congratulations to the Ace My Path team for creating a novel tool for pathology education.
